ST. LOUIS • At 5 p.m. Thursday, the great bell of Christ Church Cathedral in downtown St. Louis tolled 95 times, and no one had to ask for whom the bell tolled. It rang once for each year of Nelson Mandela's life. He had died just hours earlier in Johannesburg.
